The two parts of this book explore the impact of the Great War on Nottingham generally (as seen in the newspapers of the time): and on the suburb of Lenton – by profiles of all those named on Lenton’s War Memorial (including of course local hero Albert Ball VC). In depth research by local historians has produced a fitting remembrance of the Great War.
