The author of Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom presents a magical journey that illuminates Tarot’s hidden meanings, leading readers on an exploration of their own spiritual and personal path.

A Walk through the Forest of Souls is for spiritual seekers, who will find the Tarot a new and beneficial tool to unlock the mysteries of the universe, as well as for lovers of divination, who seek to unlock the full meanings of the cards.

In this book, Rachel Pollack uses symbols and myths to illuminate the hidden mysteries and spiritual truths of the Tarot. She takes readers on magical journeys through the Tarot, through the lens of mythology, folklore, Kabbalah, Joseph Campbell-style mythography, and more.

Readers interested in esoteric spirituality and history, as well as art and divination will find much food for thought, as well as entertainment in these pages. The book is lavishly illustrated with images from various Tarot decks.

This book takes Tarot to the next level–it’s suitable for Tarot masters, but because of the author’s engaging, lively style, it’s accessible to newcomers, too.

This book was previously published in 2002, under the title Forest of Souls: A Walk Through the Tarot.
