Matthew Sweeney’s most recent collection is Horse Music, (Bloodaxe, 2013). A retrospective selection, The Night Post, came out from Salt in 2010. Death Comes for the Poets, a satirical thriller, set in the world of contemporary poetry and co-written with the English poet, John Hartley Williams, was published by the Muswell Press in late 2012. He and John Hartley Williams previously collaborated on the handbook, Writing Poetry, first published by Hodder in 1997 and updated four times since.
