It has always been customary to put on a bit of a show when you have visitors. When those visitors happen to be royalty, then that show is usually a substantial affair. This book looks at royal visits to Nottingham throughout the ages, with special focus on the period from the 1840s to the 1950s, using many of the city’s historic records.
