scan_2015_12_20_17_00Dr Natasha Picôt will be in conversation about her book Women’s Liberation in Nottingham, a portrait.

Containing over 40 interviews, the book celebrates the growth of the Women’s Liberation Movement in Nottingham in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s.

The evening will also include a talk on the Women’s Liberation Movement in Nottingham, in a national context, followed by questions with NWC Centre Manager, Mel Jeffs.

Dr Natasha Picôt is an associate teacher at the University of Nottingham. She studied at the University of Nottingham and has worked as a Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews before co-ordinating the Nottingham Women’s Centre’s Women’s Liberation and After in Nottingham (WoLAN) project.

Admission for this event is free and refreshments will be available.
