Join Michael Rosen and translator Helen Beer to launch our new Yiddish/English parallel text edition of the classic We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

Yiddish was the language spoken by Michael’s parents, and he often uses Yiddish words in his writing and performances. He’ll read the book in English, our translator Helen Beer (a native Yiddish speaker from Australia) will read in Yiddish and both will be interviewed (in English) about children’s literature, minority languages, their careers… and no doubt a few tangents.
