Purple ProsePurple Prose is the first of its kind – a book written by and for bisexual people in Britain.
Editor Kate Harrad will be joined by contributors Juliet Kemp and Grant Denkinson to explore topics including the definition of bisexuality, the intersections of bisexuality with other identities, stereotypes and biphobia, being bisexual at work, teenage bisexuality and bisexuality through the years, the media’s approach to bisexual celebrities, and fictional bisexual characters.
Purple Prose includes personal accounts of being bisexual and having a disability, dealing with faith issues, being Black or Minority Ethnic as well as dating, being monogomous or otherwise.
