Helen Tookey’s first full-length poetry collection, Missel-Child (Carcanet, 2014) was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney First Collection Prize in 2015. Her second, City of Departures (Carcanet, 2019) has been shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection 2019. She lives in Liverpool.
