Folk Singer Cathy LeSeuf shares her favourite books with us.

Cathy Lesurf has toured and recorded with The Albion Band, Fairport Convention, The Strawbs, Fiddlers Dram and The Oyster Band, has played major music festivals worldwide, written, recorded and broadcast for BBC television (including the legendary ‘Top of the Pops’) and radio.  Based in Nottingham since 1991 and combining more home-based performance with family life, Cathy produced, wrote and performed site specific work for Southwell Minster and Newstead Abbey and for many years produced the World in 1 County Festival at Thoresby Park. She is also a story teller, short story writer, published children’s author (Mary and the the Witch’s Secret, Orchard Books, 1990) and ceilidh caller.  Returning to ‘pure music’ after a long sabbatical, with new band Wolfscote, she has a new album in production.  TURN THE GLASS will shortly be released on vinyl as well as digital formats.  Cathy has taught creative writing for the University of Nottingham and her story, The Ballad of Ephraim Flint, is currently under option.
