Ann Patchett and Tayari Jones in discussion with Kate Mosse (online)

A Building a Better World with Words online event in collaboration with Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature, Iowa UNESCO City of Literature and the Women’s Prize for Fiction.

In a special event for Independent Bookshop Week, Ann Patchett and Tayari Jones (2002 and 2019 winners of the Women’s Prize for Fiction) read from and discuss their work with Kate Mosse, founder and Director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction.

You can watch live on Zoom or YouTube, and suggest questions for the authors (if you’re watching on Zoom). The event will be BSL-interpreted, and a subtitled recording will be published on the Five Leaves and NUCoL YouTube channels after the event.

The Building a Better World with Words project is funded by Arts Council England.

This event is free. To register, please visit the event page on NUCoL’s website.
